The Torrevieja Sevillanas fair opens tomorrow

From May 14 to 18, 2025, Torrevieja invites you to immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the Sevillanas Fair, held at the Parque Antonio Soria. This annual celebration transforms the park into a vibrant Andalusian enclave, offering a rich tapestry of music, dance, gastronomy, and cultural traditions.

The fairgrounds will feature 15 ornately decorated casetas (booths), each exuding the charm of southern Spain. These spaces serve as hubs for socializing, dining, and dancing, capturing the essence of Andalusian festivities. The event kicks off on Wednesday, May 14, at 7:00 PM, with an opening ceremony that includes performances by local dance academies and a spectacular fireworks display.

Throughout the fair, attendees can enjoy a diverse lineup of performances. Local dance groups such as Aire de Lo Ferro, Siempre Así, and Mery Dance Academy will grace the main stage, showcasing traditional Sevillanas and flamenco dances. The weekend’s festivities include a Misa Rociera (Rocío Mass), equestrian parades, and a grand carriage procession on Sunday.

Savour authentic Andalusian cuisine, including pescaíto frito (fried fish) and jamón ibérico (Iberian ham), available at various casetas. The fair also caters to families, offering children’s activities and entertainment to ensure a delightful experience for all ages.
